We were just two of a crew of farmers sharing a dinner table, taking turns cooking the food we grew, turning a hard days work into satisfaction and appreciation. That’s what turned us into turkey farmers!

In 2021, we started Tailfeather Farm so that we could have friends over for more chicken dinners. Then we fried one of our pasture raised turkeys in peanut oil, bought all the plates in Walmart, hosted 30 friends for Thanksgiving and made our own yearly tradition.

A good meal has the power to make someones day, and that someone may go on to do amazing things in this world. That is the power of food. We’d be happy to be just one small part of your plate while you connect with the people you love over something everyone can agree on!
